[DE-] / [RE-] GENDERING LANGUAGE STUDIES IN EDUCATION Symposium

This capstone event comprised a series of panels focusing on how the academic disciplines of Language Studies, Education, Nursing and Social Studies are strongly gendered within Irish society, and consequently, are characterised by significant EDI challenges that should be addressed through greater visibility and initiative development. Central to this event was a panel spotlighting the emergent findings of Dr Earls’ GELS project, and a discussion of potential implications and preliminary recommendations.
