The Francophone Association for Narrative Medicine (AFMN)<\/a><\/strong> was established on May 15, 2024 with the goal of creating an inclusive and collaborative space dedicated to sharing, exchanging, developing, disseminating, training, researching, and providing resources related to narrative medicine. It brings together individuals with a shared interest in narrative medicine, including healthcare professionals, humanities researchers, artists, patients, and more. In June 2024, it held the first Summer School in Narrative Medicine at Maynooth University (organized by cluster co-lead Dr. Lo\u00efc Bourdeau and AFMN board member). The theme of the first summer school was \u201cTouch.ed\u201d. The 2024-25 Programme focuses on the concept of \u201cResistance\u201d with several narrative medicine workshops and online conversations with world-renowned writers, such as Patrick Chamoiseau.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
